This 1976 Porsche was sold new as a 911S and has been modified with steel fender flares, a rear ducktail, and a 3.0L flat-six from a 911SC. Additional alterations include upgraded suspension components, new A/C lines, and a refreshed interior. The work was performed approximately six years ago by its second owner, a former lead mechanic at Beverly Hills Porsche. Around 3k miles have been added by the seller during his three-year ownership, and the car passed a California smog test in 2016. It is now being offered for sale with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Steel fender flares were reportedly welded in and paintwork was performed around the fenders. A ducktail was added, and the hood was repainted, but several rock chips are present in the finish. Carrera decals and badging were fitted, and gold-painted Fuchs-style wheels are wrapped in Thunderer Mach IV tires.

The previous owner reupholstered the seats and installed new carpeting. A three-spoke Momo steering wheel with a Porsche crest horn button and a modern head unit were added, and aftermarket speakers were installed in the door panels. While the A/C lines have been replaced, the seller reports that the system needs a new blower to function properly. The parking brake light blinks sporadically and the driver-side door grabs the carpeting upon closing. 87,846 miles are indicated on the odometer.

The 3.0L flat-six is from a 911SC and features high-compression Euro-spec pistons, ARP hardware, polished connecting rods, and new valves. The 5-speed manual transaxle is reported to be stock. An oil service was performed two months ago, and the car passed a California smog test a year and a half ago. No service records are available, but the car has been maintained by the previous owner who performed the engine swap.

Suspension modifications include newer Koni shocks and a larger sway and torsion bar. The wheel bearings have been replaced, and the undercarriage is viewable above. Filed under: impact bumper, impact-bumper
